PuzzleDuck was borne out of my obsession with trivia, puzzles and having fun! After leaving a 20 year teaching career, I worked with the University of Liverpool on team building activities for their new students and it was during this that I realised that a collective activity that combined puzzle solving, discovering new information and of course fun, would be an ideal experience for teams. Add to that the chance to explore the city and I had the basic concept of the treasure hunt. The system was developed over a period of 2 years, during which time I added many exciting features, all with the objective of giving players a rich and unique experience. The hunts are accessed by many different clients. Businesses for a team building activity, charities as a fundraiser, stags and hens as an alternative to the traditional weekend and groups of family/friends are using them as a way to spend quality time together in an innovative way.
